Why are there so many solid waste Commissions?
The regional approach that New Brunswick has adopted with respect to solid waste management allows for the differences in population, infrastructure, and other characteristics between the various areas of New Brunswick. Each region is charged with finding the best solid waste management options for their particular region based on the unique qualities of that region.
